Here’s a recent card that I made about a month ago. It goes with the cow and deer circle card set…
The recipe for this card is available below!
Ingredients
Cricut Machine
Wild Card or any cartridge that has a circle shaped card OR use your Gypsy/Design Studio to weld two circles together to form a card.
Create a Critter Cricut cartridge
D’vine Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing Folder AND Cuttlebug
Off white cardstock
Blue metallic/shimmery cardstock
Patterned paper in same colors as solids
Scraps of light green with white polka dots
brown cardstock
Embellies:
Sunflower button
Coordinating yellow button
An old piece of a flexible measuring tape
Directions
- Using your Cricut and the Wild Card cartridge cut the card from page 48 in the handbook at 4 ¼” on the patterned paper of your choice.
- Next, cut the circle card in blackout mode found on page 48 of your handbook at 4” from the off-white cardstock. Cut the circles in half along the fold line.
- With the blue shimmer paper, cut the “oh happy day” circular phrase found on page 48 of your handbook at 4 1/4″.
- Using the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge cut the bird found on page 45 of the Create a Critter handbook. At 1 ¾”. Cut in the shadow mode with brown paper and then the base cut using the light green polka dot paper. Cut the wing with a scrap of coordinating blue paper.
- Cut the sun from the Create a Critter handbook found on ;page 52 at 1” from yellow paper.
- Emboss the off-white circle with the D’vine Swirls Cuttlebug folder and Cuttlebug. Attach to the center of the inside of the circle card.
- Glue “oh happy day” circular phrase to the front of the card following the smaller circle cut in the center of the card. Glue the bird together and attach to the inside of the card so that it fits inside of the circle window frame.
- Glue the yellow button to the center of the yellow sun cutout. Attach a bow made from an old flexible plastic measuring tape to the top of the button.
- Lightly ink the card edges with brown ink.
Here’s the other two cards in this card set…
