Hey Friends!  I’m just checking in to post more photos from CHA!  I’ve got more photos from the Prima booth - I think I took pictures of every single project they had on display in their booth – just gorgeous stuff! :-)   I’ve also got some more ”good stuff” -  product and projects from the lovely Pink Paisley.  There’s many more photos to come!  I hope you’re having fun looking through the pictures I’ve been posting and that you’re able to get some great inspiration from all of the beautiful projects on display at CHA this week!   I know I sure did and I cannot wait to start digging in!  I have to say CHA is the perfect antidote for curing the creative funk we slip into on occasion. – I know I’ve certainly had my moments over the past few months but feel refreshed and ready to rock ‘n roll so look out because here I come!!!  WoOoT!!!  WooOt!!!

Here’s some photos of a gorgeous mini album at the Prima booth.  Isn’t it just beautiful?

Some product and projects from Pink Paisley…

Craftwell, home of the new eCraft Digital Die Cut Machine.  I got to play with it and it is a pretty neat machine.  I especially like the no mat feature.  It cuts up to a 12″ width and can be as long as you can possibly imagine.  It cuts through fabric like it’s butter – even the cheap fuzzy felt – the thicker stuff cuts like a charm. I thought for sure I had taken photos of the dresses made with this thing but I’m not finding them anywhere in the photos I have in my file from CHA.   I’ll keep looking and will post if I find them.  To find out more about the machine visit their website at http://www.craftwellusa.com/pages/home

I hope you liked the photos!  I’l post more tomorrow!

Howdy Ho Everyone!  It’s Wednesday evening and I’m just getting around to downloading the photos from my camera.  Today I am posting some of the photos of the Ranger booth  -known for their awesome inks, sprays, Tim Holtz and Claudine Hellmuth.  I’m also sharing photos of some really cute scrapbook page layouts from  Prima who is known for their awesome flowers and bling-bling.

And some layouts and neat-o stuff from the Prima Booth…

Aleene’s Glue Booth…

I have more that I will share over the next few days…

Unfortunately, the photos of the Imagine machine are really blurry so I won’t be posting them.  So sorry. :-(

And now a few things projects that I made and will share *wink*

Hope you’re all staying cool in this wicked heat!

Photos of Inspiration from CHA…

(The lighting was really funky at the show today- I’ll make sure to grab my extra flash for clearer light for tomorrow)

(Photos of new Halloween line from Graphic 45- love it! Wait until you see the new Steam Punk line – I’ll get photos tomorrow!)

More display stuff from American Crafts…

(“Dear Lizzy” line from American Craft – isn’ t it cute and whimsical?)

(Thin and pliable gelatin – REALLY COOL.  I have a sample I will try out once CHA is over to share with you.  We’re testing it with the Cricut tomorrow…this could be a VERY big deal if it cuts without chipping!)  Check out the flowers below – everything is made from gelatin!

(Stamps from American Craft- adorable!)

(Photos from Graphic 45 – LOVE THEIR PAPER!)

Please Meet The New Cricut Named, Imagine!

See these awesome little die cuts?  Aren’t they purdy?  Believe it or not, all of these die cuts were colored and cut by the new Cricut Imagine!!!!  Did your jaws hit the floor?  Are you utterly amazed?!  I’m telling you it gave me goosebumps because this is EXACTLY what I have wanted for the past 10 years and it’s FINALLY here!

See this paper…isn’t it gorgeous?!  REALLY look at it closely…do you recognize the brand?  Hmmm….it sure does resemble some of those fancy schmancy paper companies that charge up to $2.00 a sheet… Believe it or not, THIS piece of beautiful paper was made using the Cricut Imagine and a sheet of 12 x 12 WHITE PAPER!  No joke folks…this thing is amazing and I am beyond excited! I can’t remember the cartridge this came from but it is full of vintage looking stuff with faded colors – yes, the colors are supposed to be muted on this paper.  Can you see in the corners how distressed the paper looks?  It’s supposed to look that way – it’s not because of poor print quality.  Did you know that Provo Craft teamed up with Hewlett Packard to make this machine and it uses two ink cartridges (black and tri-color) by HP specifically designed for the Cricut.  (Ink cartridges will be approx. $29.99-$39.99).

Here’s a few more photos of some flowers that were colored and cut and an oval (of sorts) to show the patterns and colors… This machine will definitely redefine the scrapbooking industry- no doubt about it.  Can  you imagine only having white paper in your craft stash so that you can color and print EXACTLY what you want at the click of a button?  Think of all the space we’ll save!

Here’s a photo of the mats.  This is a 12×12 mat specifically made for the Imagine machine.  You won’t be able to use your old Cricut mats in the new machine BUT you can use the new mats in the Expression.  This new mat has the black lines that are used by the machine to line things up before printing and cutting – they act like a sensor to guide where the cut/printing is going to be.

And THIS is the new addition to my family….Provo Craft gave all of us who attended the Gala this evening a machine!  I am beyond excited and cannot wait to get this bad boy to  start playing.  The machine is supposed to be available for purchase in October – just in time for the holiday shopping season!  So far there are 12 color/pattern/shape cartridges available.  I don’t have any names yet but will sleuth that out tomorrow. *wink*

It was so crowded when I took these photos today that I will get some better close-up photos of the display screen tomorrow to add to this post.  I was a bit skeptical when I first heard about this machine a few years back but I can definitely say it is NOTHING like what I expected!  The  MSRP is at $599.99 . Personally, I see the price hovering on the higher side  simply because of what you are getting and the quality of the machine. I’m sure the price is going to come down significantly but I don’t expect this to be at Expression prices any time in the near future.

I have TONS of photos to post and will continue adding them over the next week – is anyone going to enter the “mystery prize” contest going on this week ?  All you have to do is take a photo of something you made this week or recently and email it to me.  Make sure to add your name, URL and anything else I might need to know.  The contest ends Sunday at 11:00 AM and the drawing will be in the afternoon.

Keep watching for more fun and inspiring photos from CHA!
